Ms. Ronqesha Robinson joins Sunbeam as another member of our administration team in the role of Assistant Principal.  Ms. Robinson has served in special education in CMSD for over twenty years. She brings a wealth of experience in special education, having taught multiple grade levels over the years and providing services across special education environments (general education/inclusion, resource room, and self-contained). Ms. Robinson enjoys building relationships with staff, students, and their families to accomplish schoolwide and individual goals. 

Prior to joining Sunbeam, Ms. Robinson taught in a low incidence classroom at Max S. Hayes High School. She completed CMSD’s Assistant Principal Preparation Program Cohort 1 2022-2023. Prior to her working at Max Hayes, Ms. Robinson served as an inclusion Intervention Specialist at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center for six years. She has a passion for advocacy for incarcerated youth and equity for all students. This passion for equity and advocacy led her to join our State Board of Education Representative Meryl Johnson’s, Justice for our Youth Task Force.  

Ms. Robinson enjoys spending time with her family, visiting museums, and learning through travel. Ms. Robinson recently faced a fear and learned how to swim. She now enjoys swimming and uses it as a way to decompress and for leisure.
