4/18/23 --“Shark Tank” style funding pitches were used to determine which proposals would be funded. A total of nearly $400 thousand was awarded.

2/24/23 -- Today, February 24th, the District announced the launch of The CMSD Get More Opportunities Fund website, which will serve as a portal through which students, teachers, and parents can apply directly for grants or make suggestions on how to use the $20 million gift.

11/22/2022 -- The gift, possibly the largest private donation CMSD has ever received, will be used to broaden students’ horizons, strengthen support for staff and principals, and make improvements that benefit the District and community.
