• Hello DSA Family!

I would like to extend a special welcome to all of the new families joining Dike School of the Arts this year and welcome back all of our returning families as well! As we make history with our new remote beginning, our focus will still be to ensure that we meet the student’s academic, social and emotional needs while promoting expression through the arts.

Spring of 2020 catapulted all of us into a new way of teaching, learning and living. DSA teachers really pushed themselves through an uncomfortable situation that they are making the most of! They took lemons and made lemonade!  They are learning and sharing their expertise with each other, students and parents.  This is the type of learning and caring community that our students need to experience in order to build self-confidence both academically and artistically.

Partnering with you will be crucial this year as we face remote learning. Your child's success is attributed to our partnership and the relationships we build with each other. This is MOST important now more than ever. It truly does take a village! Education is a joint venture and DSA greatly appreciates the support you provide your children at home to help them meet their learning goals.

The pandemic forced me to think differently and reflect upon my responsibilities as your principal of Dike School of the Arts.  My pledge to you is to exercise high levels of flexibility and adaptability, ensure that you, your child and the staff are supported, share kindness, empathy and gratitude and lastly, provide rigorous instruction, whether remote or in person, so that your child can compete globally with confidence.

Together we can! Together we will!
