Welcome to our website! We are so glad you have come to learn more about our school community! We are a unique Prek-8 school within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. At Dike School of the Arts, we believe that through an arts education, students learn how to persevere and focus through struggle, work cooperatively towards a collective goal, and develop a strong sense of who they are and what they can offer the world.
We believe that all students who show an aptitude and interest in the fine arts should have equitable access to a high quality arts education. We have five professional artists on staff and partner with the Cleveland Orchestra, Tri-C, the Music School Settlement, Studio Institute, The Cleveland Playhouse, and Cleveland School of the Arts to provide one to one and small group instruction. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in arts residencies where students experience different genres of music and mediums of art.
If you are interested in Dike School of the Arts for your child, please call 216-838-9150 or go to https://www.clevelandmetroschools.org/Student-Registration-and-Enrollment-Information to start the enrollment process for Grades PreK through 3rd Grade. All prospective students in grades 4-8 will interview and showcase their art form, or demonstrate a strong interest in a particular art form, at one of our enrollment events. You may register and learn more about these expectations by following this link: Enrollment Registration
