• A few job opportunities for students enrolled in Culinary Programs.  There are a few openings in our Dietary Dept. for the Dietary Aide position and Cook position.  Typically students work the 3-7:30 p.m. shift.  Dietary Cooks usually need long-term care experience which is basically cooking in large quantities, but if you have any former students you’re in touch with maybe you can pass this email along.  Attached I included both job descriptions. 

    Also, every month we conduct drop-in virtual interviews which is presented by Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation.  The next one scheduled is Wednesday, October 13th from 10-12PM.  Those times probably won’t be favorable to their school schedule but just an FYI.  If perhaps the students want further information they can  send an inquiry to workforce@fairfaxdev.org.

    Students can also apply directly within the facility Monday-Friday between the hours of 9AM-4PM.  The address to the facility is included with my signature below.  Unfortunately, our website is under construction so applications are in paper form.
