Cavaliers/Huntington Scholarship Program

This is the 33rd year Huntington has partnered with the Cavs to provide college scholarships to graduating seniors in Northeast OhioThe Cleveland Cavaliers Community Foundation and Huntington are offering $50,000 in scholarship funds to Northeast Ohio high school seniors. Through the Scholarship Program, five (5) graduating seniors will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship to attend college, vocational/trade school, or similar education course that will provide a certification or degree during the 2024-2025 academic year. Scholarship funds can be applied to verifiable costs associated with college or a vocational/trade school, including tuition, fees, books, and other related educational expenses. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, outstanding community service, and need.
Completed applications must be received by Friday, February 16, 2024.The 2023-24 scholarship recipients will be recognized during the Cavs game on Friday, April 12th.
In addition, five (5) semifinalists will receive a $1,000 Huntington savings account.

After-School Support at Cleveland Public Library
To help children and families, Cleveland Public Library is offering resources and programs to enhance the learning experience, encourage reading, and spark curiosity.
TUTORING
Struggling with schoolwork? We’ve got your back! Homework can be frustrating for both students and parents, and that’s why the library’s homework help centers provide a haven for students seeking assistance in various subjects. Staffed by knowledgeable tutors and educators, these centers offer personalized support that can make a significant difference in a student’s understanding and confidence.
After-School Meals with Kids Cafe
Learning and studying can make kids hungry. Kids’ Café is back in session. In partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, the Library will provide nutritious meals for children up to age 18. Families should call their local branch for meal delivery times.
AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
After school fun starts at the Library. Students can show their talents in a multitude of arts programs. From theatre to dance, singing and art, Cleveland Public Library has a programfor children of all ages thanks to our community partners including Art Therapy Studio. Families can also visit their favorite neighborhood branch for take-and-make activities and crafts.
