Joseph M. Gallagher serves a K-8, multicultural community and is hosting its first TeachArtsOhio residency in 2025-26. Artist Sheela Das provides workshops in singing, songwriting, and playwriting for puppetry. Drumming workshops in grades 7-8 promote cultural literacy, teamwork, collaboration, and empathy.
Lessons align with content standards for English Language Arts, Music, Drama, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Profile of a Graduate. The entire school community PreK-12, families, and community partners share in artistic workshops and performances at the school.
