Subject: Important Back-to-School Updates: New School Hours & Electronics Policy

    Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the new school year! We are excited to partner with you for another year of learning, growth, and achievement. As we prepare to begin the 2025–2026 school year, we would like to inform you of two important updates that will go into effect starting the first day of school.

    Updated School Hours

Beginning this school year, our school hours will be:

    8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Please ensure that your child arrives on time and is prepared to begin the day promptly at 8:00 AM. Breakfast is served beginning at 7:30 am. Dismissal will begin at 2:30 PM. All students should be in after school activities or have exited the building by 2:45.

Updated Cell Phone & Electronics Policy

To support a focused and distraction-free learning environment, we have revised our policy which supports the board policy that began last school year regarding electronic devices.

Effective immediately, the following policy will be in place:

    • No electronic devices are allowed during the school day.

     This includes:

    • Cell phones
    • Headphones/earbuds
    • Smartwatches
    • Tablets and other personal devices

    • Students will be required to place all electronic devices in a labeled bag (provided by school) at the beginning of the day.

    • These bags will be securely stored until 8th period.

    • At 2:30 PM, during last period, students will retrieve their bags as part of the dismissal process.

    • Failure to comply with the electronics policy may result in:

    • Immediate confiscation of the device and parent call, devices will then be held in the office and can be picked up after all other devices have been distributed
    • Device held by administration until a parent or guardian retrieves it
    • Device held till end of school year

We appreciate your support in helping us maintain an environment focused on learning and student engagement.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these updates, please do not hesitate to contact the school office at 216-838-6050.

We are looking forward to a successful school year and appreciate your continued partnership!

    Warm regards,
