For the first time, students at the Dike School of the Arts have their own playground, thanks to the Cleveland Browns and the United Way of Greater Cleveland.
Browns players and front-office personnel worked with United Way staff and volunteers to build the playground On Oct. 20. The day marked the 17th annual Hometown Huddle, a day of service by NFL teams and United Ways across the country.
Step2 donated children’s toys and furniture for the playground, Petitti Garden Centers contributed flowers and Sherwin-Williams supplied paint. Giant Eagle provided breakfast for the dozens of volunteers who participated.
