Many CMSD students miss school simply because they don't have the clothes to wear. As part of ongoing efforts to boost attendance and eliminate barriers in education, the District teamed up with the Cleveland Browns and Shoes and Clothes for Kids to create "Special Teams Packages," and the Browns recently hand delivered dozens of them to third-graders at Case Elementary. Each student was given a personalized bag filled with school uniforms, clothing essentials and school supplies.
