CSA senior wins Dazzle award

Jenai Mosely, a graduating senior at the Cleveland School of the Arts, won a Dazzle Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Andy Lee in this year's All-City Musical, "42nd Street."

The musical was nominated for seven Dazzle Awards, a regional high school theater competition. This year's winners were announced Saturday night at Playhouse Square's Connor Palace.

Other nominations included Best Scenic Design, Best Choreography Execution, Best Ensemble/Chorus, Best Featured Performer (Shyanne Dunn, Bard High School Early College, in the role of Lorraine Fleming), Best Supporting Actress, (Jocelyn Stone, James Ford Rhodes, in the role of Maggie Jones) and Best Musical.

The Dazzle Awards are presented by Pat and John Chapman.

Students performed “42nd Street” April 26-28 at the Ohio Theatre on Playhouse Square. It was the 20thannual All-City Musical.
