"Creating a Healthy Cleveland" Essay Contest Deadline Extend

Deadline extended to Monday, November 26, 2013. 


St. Vincent Charity You can win up to a $5,000 scholarship by writing about how you would improve the health of the citizens of Cleveland.
 
The Saint Luke Internal Medicine Foundation in conjunction with St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is sponsoring an essay contest for high school students enrolled in Cleveland public high schools. The essay will focus on specific issues that can be addressed to make the citizens of Cleveland healthier.
 
Describe a health problem affecting the citizens of Cleveland. Explain how this impacts the overall health of the city and how you would solve the problem.
 
Your essay must not exceed 750 words.
 
Prize-winning essays will be featured on the website of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center (www.stvincentcharity.com) and the first-place winner will be published.
