The closing of school buildings and move to distance learning have shed light on a lack of affordable Internet access in Cleveland and across the country.
On May 8, CEO Eric Gordon will headline a virtual City Club of Cleveland forum on barriers to access in the city. He has called on federal and state policymakers to treat the Internet like a public utility instead of a luxury.
The forum, “Coronavirus Challenge: Bridging Cleveland Education’s Digital Divide,” will begin at 12:30 p.m.
