 Celebrating family engagement

November is National Family Engagement Month.

This month and always, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District is grateful to parents and caregivers for the important role they play in their children’s education. That appreciation has grown even stronger during remote learning, when parents and caregivers must tend to jobs and other responsibilities while assisting our scholars with online schoolwork.

Family engagement in CMSD has soared under The Cleveland Plan, with nearly 91 percent of parents and caregivers meeting with their children’s teachers last year. The District and families continue to interact, even during the pandemic.

CMSD will do its best to ensure that this partnership continues to flourish and grow. To assist, we have provided online links for parents and educators to explore. Go to https://bit.ly/2IxZABt

Families and educators are asked to share photographs and videos of CMSD family engagement programs, meetings and events on social media to show how families and schools are partnering to support student success. Use the hashtag #CMSDFamiliesROCK
