Cleveland's Path to Say Yes launches website
CMSD NEWS BUREAU
8/18/2017
The partners working to make Cleveland a chapter of Say Yes to Education have launched a website that provides more information on the program and their efforts.
Say Yes to Education works with communities to align academic and social services that help students stay on track to graduating from high school and prepare them for postsecondary studies. Chapters also provide scholarships that help students fill gaps in financing tuition.
If approved, Cleveland would join chapters in Syracuse and Buffalo, N.Y., and Guilford County, N.C. Say Yes is expected to make a decision next year.
Partners in what is being called Cleveland’s Path to Say Yes include the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, CMSD, the Cleveland Foundation, College Now Greater Cleveland and the United Way of Greater Cleveland.
