District hosts first vaccination clinics for ages 5 and up

CMSD will partner with Case Western Reserve University to host the District's first COVID vaccination clinics for ages 5 years and older.
Clinics are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 at Willson School, 1126 Ansel Road.
Wade Park School, 7600 Wade Park Ave., will host clinics from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 20 and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
The free clinics are for students at the two schools and their parents. Principals will provide families with registration and other information.
Second doses of the vaccine will be administered in December at the two schools.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized the Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 and up. The FDA has approved the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for ages 18 and older.
The District previously sponsored vaccination clinics for employees and for community members as young as 12.
