Students working with mayor on violence prevention (Video)

For the last decade, CEO Eric Gordon has turned to his Student Advisory Committee for input on concerns such as absenteeism, resistance to vaccination and how to get more students to apply for college.
Now these trusted advisors are working with Mayor Justin Bibb and the city on violence prevention, a communitywide issue.
Sonya Pryor-Jones, the city’s chief of youth and family success, started the discussion by posing questions to the committee at its first meeting of the school year.
