Dear Parents.
My name is Frederick Mc Farland I am the Dean of Engagement at Whitney Young K-8 Elementary School located at 17900 Harvard Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128. I am a college graduate from Phoenix University and Ohio State University School of Business BA. Additionally, I am also a Training Certified Ohio Police officer, and a certified Long-Term Substitute license for 5 years at Cleveland Metropolitan Schools.
I look forward to meeting with all of the parents and scholars at Whitney Young and the work of educating your scholar. It is my personal goal to make your scholar feel safe and enjoy his/her school, thus making the best educational experience possible. My 20-year experience in law enforcement and 15 years of experience in education provides me with a range of skill sets to assist and guide our scholars on their education journey. I will be calling each of our new families to introduce myself and to offer any services needed for your child’s education. I look forward to many years of educational success.
