Anton Grdina
  • Dear Anton Grdina community and families,

I am grateful to have this opportunity to work alongside a school community who show dedication and support towards our scholars. As we await the upcoming school year, we will continue to do what is best for our students. We will also work diligently to ensure their academic success is aligned with our school mission and vision.

As we model inquiry-based learning, this has successfully encouraged our scholars to build critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, research, and oral communication through demonstration of learning in addition to our positive behavioral interventions and support program (PBIS). We will continue to push forward and use the tiered framework to help support our scholars’ mental, behavioral, social, and emotional abilities.

Working together as a team will help promote "academic success" for our scholars. All students should receive an equitable, high-quality education in a safe, conducive learning environment. We will also introduce this school year our new district-wide reading curriculum, Into Reading/Literature alongside with other curriculum already used, such as eureka math and into science.

I am very excited about beginning our new school year with our administrative team, staff, scholars, community members, and families. I also look forward to seeing what we will accomplish together for our students.

    Respectfully yours,

    Vassimo Dillard, Principal
