Welcome to First Grade with Ms Soltis!  I am looking forward to being your child's first grade teacher this year!  I have been in the district for nineteen years.  I earned my bachelor's degree in education from Hiram College and my master's degree  from Notre Dame College.  Frist grade is an exciting year when you see huge changes in you child's reading skills.  They start to become readers.  A whole new world starts to open to them as they start reading.  Let's work together to make this a great year for your child.
