Welcome

  • Imagine a school where your child designs and engineers a state-of-the-art rocket, capable of lifting payloads into the Earth's orbit.

In science class, he constructs, tests and launches a water rocket using a real-world, problem-solving simulation.

In art class, he creates a persuasive video using promotional advertising.

In math class, he develops a budget, purchases construction material and tracks expenditures.

In history class, he studies human interactions and rocket/space history through events on a timeline.

Hannah Gibbons-STEM is a PK-8 school in Cleveland's Collinwood neighborhood. At Hannah Gibbons, our scholars focus on project-based learning and real-world problem-solving as they develop skills that will prepare them for college and a 21st Century workforce.  Through a strong interdisciplinary approach, caring teachers balance science with technology, engineering and mathematics.
