Attendance Policy:
Students are required to attend school by law. Regular attendance is vital for student success. Parents are requested to call school (216.838.1750) in the morning if their child will be absent. Upon return of the child to school, a note must be sent explaining the reason for absence. STATE LAW REQUIRES A NOTE. The note must have the student’s name, date, reason for absence and the signature of the parent or guardian. Absences may be excused for:
- Illness
- Doctor Appointments
- Religious Holiday
- Death in the Family
Incentives:
- Monthly rewards to scholars who have on-track attendance
- Quarter, semester and end of the year rewards for scholars with perfect attendance & on-track attendance
