Welcome to the 2015-2016 School Year!

I am excited to be teaching second grade this year.  This will be my 18th year in teaching.  I have taught grades K-5.  My philosophy in teaching is that no student should be left behind, and every child has a right to learn.  My hobbies are reading about Black History and Presidents.  Also, I love collecting items on Michael Jackson.

To quote Dr. Martin Luther king, Jr: "Intelligence plus character--that is the goal of true education."
