Greetings and welcome to Andrew J. Rickoff Elementary School, the home of the Eagles! I am thrilled that you have decided to view our school’s website in order to learn more about the wonderful students, staff, and programs we have to offer. Andrew J. Rickoff Elementary has a commitment to excellence and we will continue to strive to become the best. We are about to embark upon a new school year with great enthusiasm and anticipation of new opportunities that will enhance our instructional program and school community as a whole.
Our school community is dedicated to providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience. While the core curriculum is provided for all students, we believe that it is critical to provide leadership opportunities, character education and exposure to the technologies in order to prepare students to compete with their global counterparts.
We encourage you to visit our beautiful school and see that we are a school committed to children, with a college and career focus. You will find that this is a vibrant and engaging community of teachers and learners. To our parents, we believe that your involvement is an essential component to the academic success of your child. I encourage you to visit our website often, meet your child’s teacher and to get engaged in all that Rickoff has to offer. Your participation in our school is needed and greatly appreciated!
The Summer Learning Experience, which got under way Monday, is a bold effort to help students in preschool through 12th grade catch up after a year in remote learning, get a head start on next school year or just re-engage in a variety of fun, hands-on activities and camps. And it’s free.
The CMSD Summer Learning Experience is on the way, offering fun and adventure in a safe environment for students of all ages. And it’s free. Registration is now open!
CMSD graduates received a boost this year from new Say Yes to Education scholarships that pay up to the full value of tuition. The scholarships may be used at all public colleges and universities and Pell-eligible training programs in Ohio and more than 100 private colleges and universities across the country.
