My BA in ceramics was received in 1995 from Cleveland State University. I continued my degree and graduated in 1998 with a double major in art and education. I began working for Cleveland Metropolitan School District in 2000. In an effort to expand my horizons I continued my education in 2011 through Notre Dame College in Special Education and received my certification in 2013. Working as an art teacher for the last 16 in the district has been a wondeful experience. I have watched students grow from preschoolers to highschoolers, and have even been given the gift of teaching former student's children.
