Hornet Families,
Thank you so much for attending our recent Open House! We truly enjoyed welcoming you into our school and classrooms. We hope you found the evening informative and engaging—learning about our academic goals, classroom expectations, how to monitor your child’s attendance and grades, and ways to get involved in shaping your child’s school experience.
As we move forward, here are a few important reminders and updates:
Dress Code & Supplies: Students must wear school-appropriate clothing and bring a clear book bag each day. We’ve provided all students with headphones or earbuds to support their learning during instructional time.
Academic Support for Middle School Students: After reviewing the first 3-week grade reports, we’ve noticed that several middle school students are not consistently completing homework or classwork. These students, identified by their teachers, will participate in daily academic help sessions with teacher and/or administrative support to ensure they stay on track.
Kindergarten Reminder: There will be no school for Kindergarten students on Friday, September 19th.
Upcoming Family Engagement Event: Please join us for our Father’s Walk on Thursday, September 18th at 8:00 AM. We look forward to celebrating the important role fathers and father figures play in our students’ lives.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are building a strong foundation for every child’s success!
