What’s New on the Hybrid Learning webpage?
This is a reminder to CMSD families that our Phase 1 reopening is on schedule this week with no disruption to the schedule.Students will be learning remotely Monday and Tuesday as planned.See District response to CTU safety concerns.

Verizon will supply iPads at five schools
Verizon will provide iPads or Chromebooks to students in the upper grades at Miles Park and four other CMSD PreK-8 schools as part of an effort to help students nationwide close the “digital learning gap.”

Miles Park featured in video about Safe Routes initiative
The city of Cleveland plans to tear down more than 500 vacant properties to improve safety for students who walk to and from school and to eliminate some of the stress that keeps students from fulfilling their academic potential.

Shift to hybrid moves into second phase (Video)
3/15/2021 - The second phase of the CMSD reopening plan began Monday as students in preschool through second grade and ninth and 12th graders returned to school for hybrid learning.

Higher percentage of CMSD graduates enrolling in college
CMSD graduates received a boost this year from new Say Yes to Education scholarships that pay up to the full value of tuition. The scholarships may be used at all public colleges and universities and Pell-eligible training programs in Ohio and more than 100 private colleges and universities across the country.

CMSD fares well in national tests
The new Nation’s Report Card is out, and it shows CMSD faring well in reading and math when compared with districts across the country.
