• Nolan My name is Amy Nolan and I am proud to be an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Riverside school. I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1998. I have worked in the school based setting at Riverside since 2005. As an OT, I work with students of various ages in grades from Pre-K through 12th grade. I provide individualized therapeutic interventions to help students improve their daily occupations, including playing, eating, learning, and self-care by addressing underlying issues such as fine-motor skills, attention, social–emotional learning, self-regulation and motor planning to a name a few. Being an Occupational Therapist allows me to use my creativity as well as evidenced based practices to make positive differences in the lives of children, their families, as well as their communities. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two girls.
