I began teaching at Riverside in late 2016, where I currently teach math to middle school students that have Individualized Education Plans.  I am a product of the Cleveland Schools myself, having attended Cleveland from Kindergarten to High School.  I began my teaching career with Cleveland in 1996 and I have had the pleasure of teaching grades 4-6 (regular, all subjects) before focusing primarily on students with Individualized Education Plans.  I obtained my Master’s Degree in Special Education Curriculum and Instruction in the year 2000 from Cleveland State University, which is also where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in 1995 (graduating Cum Laude).  I have two children, that together, are my world, and in my spare time I am also a portrait artist that works in various mediums.  You can often times find me participating in art shows during the summers.  I’m also an extreme film fanatic, comic book historian, and a collector of film memorabilia.  I enjoy what I do daily in the classroom and I believe that teaching is truly a rewarding experience.
