My name is Wendy Pugh and I wholeheartedly believe that all students can succeed. Teaching is a rewarding experience and I am truly blessed to be working with the scholars at Riverside. I have been teaching in the Cleveland Schools since 2000 and continue my education to best meet the needs of my students.
I was the first generation in my family to attend college. I graduated from Cleveland State University in 1999 receiving a BA in Elementary Education (grades 1-8). Later, I earned a MA in the area of Literacy, from Walden University and completed my special education coursework at Baldwin Wallace College.
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing, camping and kayaking. I live in Brunswick with my husband Rob and my son Connor.
