• My name is Nichole McCarthy.  I firmly believe every child is capable of learning and succeeding.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with minors in Education and Psychology from Baldwin Wallace College in 2000 and a Masters in Education focusing on Moderate/Intensive Disabilities from Cleveland State in 2009.  I have continued my education since then focusing on reading and literacy. I welcome learning new techniques and research based strategies that can help me in and out of the classroom. My licensure includes a K-12 Spanish license and a K-12 Moderate/Intensive Special Education license from the state of Ohio.  Having the opportunity to teach with either of my licenses as well as coach throughout the years continues to be rewarding. I began my career in 2000 and am lucky enough to say that I still love it.

I was born, raised and continue to live in the Cleveland area with my family that includes 4 children.    One of my own children has numerous special needs so I appreciate and support the fight special needs families have daily for their child(ren) to be successful.

“Every child has a different learning style and pace.  Each child is unique, not only capable of learning, but also capable of succeeding.”    -Robert John Meehan
