  • Dear Families,
As we enter Week 11 of the school year, we want to remind you of the importance of supporting our scholars in achieving grade-level academic achievement, fostering social-emotional growth, and preparing for college and career readiness. Here are a few ways you can help your child stay on track:
    • Academic Achievement: Encourage daily reading, consistent homework completion, and regular attendance. Stay connected with your child’s teacher to monitor progress and address any concerns early.
    • Social-Emotional Growth: Talk with your child about their day, help them navigate friendships, and reinforce positive behavior and self-regulation strategies.
    • College & Career Readiness: Even at the elementary level, we build foundational skills. Promote curiosity, goal-setting, and a growth mindset at home.
🎉 Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team for improving their season record to 2-1! We are proud of their hard work and teamwork. A special thank you to the families and staff who came out to cheer them on—your support means so much!
    📅 Important Reminders:
    • Wednesday, October 29: No school for students due to Parent-Teacher Conferences from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Conferences may be held in-person or virtually. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s success.
    • Friday, October 31: We will host Halloween Parties from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Each classroom may have one approved room parent to assist. Please connect with your child’s teacher for prior approval. If you prefer your scholar not to participate, you may pick them up early, or they will be supervised in the PCIA Room until dismissal.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s keep working together to make this school year a successful one for all our scholars!
