  • Campus International is a K-8 school that prepares students to be global citizens by emphasizing student inquiry and a global perspective. CIS is located on the campus of Cleveland State University and benefits from a unique, nationally-recognized partnership with the university. CIS offers:

    • Two authorized International Baccalaureate programmes (Primary Years / Middle Years) that sets high standards for students' academic and personal achievements.
    • Teaching and learning that promotes inquiry 
    • Mandarin instruction beginning in kindergarten. We invest in language.
    • Resources from CSU including a faculty advisor to assist with curriculum development, student teachers to augment classroom teaching and other university resources.
    • An environment that helps students understand of the benefits of college, creating a clear path for increasing higher education attainment for urban students.

  • Pep rally encourages students to Get 2 School (Video, photo gallery)

    CMSD relaunched its Get 2 School, You Can Make It attendance campaign Wednesday, with speakers at a pep rally providing words of inspiration and telling students about the importance of attending school every day.

  • True2U seeking mentors for 8th graders

    The True2U program is seeking mentors to help CMSD eighth graders begin to chart their futures. The volunteer mentors will work with the students throughout the year to help them explore their strengths and interests, think about career possibilities and select which CMSD high school is best for them.

  • New school year will bring new tools, services

    A new school year is almost here, bringing with it a number of things that are new and different. While most schools won’t start classes until Aug. 22, some high schools that operate year-round will welcome ninth graders on Monday and other students on Tuesday. Several other schools will return Monday, Aug. 8.

    6/28/2022 -- Schools were renamed for the late U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, former Principal Natividad Pagan and activist Mary Church Terrell.
