Welcome to first grade! My name is Shannon Lynch and I am proud to be a first grade teacher at Orchard STEM! I am in my 6th year of teaching and I am very excited about what this school year holds! I began my teaching career as a special needs preschool teacher and this is my first full year teaching first grade at Orchard STEM. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, working on my fitness, and playing with my two little Yorkshire Terrier dogs. First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning! You are the most important person in your child’s life and you are also a teacher in your child’s life. I believe that student success is at its greatest when we work together as a team to support learning within the classroom. I welcome all forms of communication and look forward to a wonderful year growing and learning together with your child!
