- What is the foundation for a child's academic success?
- What does quality time look like in your home?
- How do infants and young children learn language and vocabulary?
- What items do you already have around the house that can support your child's literacy development?

Tremont Teachers and Students Celebrated at the Cleveland Reads Victory BashMayor Bibb joined Felton Thomas, Executive Director of the Cleveland Public Library, other elected officials and many students and families at the Cleveland Reads Victory Bash yesterday to announce the results of the results of the Cleveland Reads challenge. In January, Mayor Bibb challenged Clevelanders to read 1 million books and/or 1 million minutes. As of December 2, 2023 we have collectively read 1,476,215 books and 10,699,118 minutes in 2023! If that wasn't enough excitement, Tremont Montessori was one of two organizations celebrated as Cleveland Reads Champions! Thanks to Ms. Potts, Mrs. Chrisman and "Ms. J" for coming out to the victory bash. We also had a number of families attend the fun--the students seemed more excited to see their teachers than to go roller skating! Congratulations to the whole staff who have taken your students to Jefferson Library and made reading fun and a part of daily learning. You are the champions! |
