• Reynolds Hello! My name is Mrs. Kimberly Reynolds. I have been a teacher in Cleveland since 1989. My career has included teaching every grade, in some capacity, from PK-8th grade, with 1st grade and middle school as the areas I have the most experience and LOVE for teaching. I began at Wade Park Elementary School in 1989, and have taught hundreds of students over my career at Marion Sterling, Nathan Hale, and Michael R. White. I am now SO happy to be a part of the Riverside School Community since the 2017-18 school year. I hope to remain at Riverside until I retire.

I am a middle school homeroom teacher and LOVE teaching History/Social Studies to our 6th, 7th and 8th Graders as part of the BEST Middle School Team in the city! I truly believe that developing a strong relationship and close bond with my students based on an enthusiasm for learning, empathy for others and by infusing humor into my classes that I build a strong rapport with each and every student! I make it my mission to let each student know that I LOVE being their teacher and really enjoy spending each and every day with them!

I enjoy being the Moderator for the Model United Nations Club that competes as part of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs Middle School Competition each year. I went to Washington D.C. with our 7th and 8th Graders in 2017-18 and am actively involved in the planning and preparation of our yearly Middle School trip. I am involved with True2U, a program for 8th graders to assist them in high school choice and career path training. I am looking forward to becoming even more active in our school community by bringing Student Council to Riverside with Mrs. Gibbons.

I have been a lifelong learner and am an alumni of Kent State, The University of Akron and John Carroll University, along with having taken many courses at Notre Dame Academy, Ursuline, Cleveland State University and others in Northeast Ohio to maintain my credentials and teaching license over my lengthy career.

I live in Mentor with my husband, Greg, and two rescue dogs, Ruby and Lexi. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my grown daughter, Christina and close friends.
