    I have been in the field of education for 26 years. I graduated from Ursuline College and Kent State University where I obtained a Mastered Degree in Educational Administration and Special Education.  I also obtained my superintendents license from Cleveland State University 4 years ago.  I am a wife, mother of 3 children and devoted to providing all stakeholders with the opportunity to become their best selves. I have been given the opportunity to educate students in the Union-Miles Community at Miles Park School for 10 years. Under my leadership, Miles Park is identified as a focus school by the Ohio Department of Education. 

    At Miles Park School our motto is Learner today ... Leaders Tomorrow.

    Dr. Robin R. Simmons grew up in Warrensville Heights, OH, and graduated from Warrensville Hts. High School. She attended Alabama State University, an HBCU, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She earned her M.A. in School Administration from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts, and her Ed.S. in Curriculum K-12 and an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida. Dr. Simmons has been in education for 25 years.
    In her leisure time, Dr. Simmons enjoys reading, live entertainment (comedy, music, theater), and traveling. Her favorite color is red, her favorite food is seafood, and her favorite movie is Harlem Nights. A fun fact about Dr. Simmons is that she used to live in Montgomery, Alabama, in Cleveland Court, across from where Rosa Parks lived. Her next-door neighbor was Coretta Scott King's music teacher.

    I worked in Cleveland’s Metropolitan School District’s Safety and Security for 15 years prior to becoming the Dean of Engagement at Miles Park Elementary School. I have an Associate Degree in Security Administration. I was a tutor for two years as a City Year Corps Member in Cleveland, Ohio. One of those years was here at Miles Park Elementary School. I enjoy working with students and helping them academically. I am currently the Chess Advisor for Miles Park. As the Dean of Engagement, I look forward to working with the teachers, parents, and students to allow each student a safe, memorable, and enjoyable elementary school experience.

    Hello, my name is Mr. Hill I am the Say Yes family support specialist at Miles Park. This is my third year at Miles Park and working for Say Yes. My role here at the school is to connect families and students with local community resources. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and have lived in upstate New York. I currently have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology (Bowling Green State University) and a Master's degree in Public Administration (Central Michigan University).
