Hello! My name is Amy Soltes and I am proud to be a third grade teacher at Riverside. I have been a teacher in the Cleveland schools since 1998 and have taught every grade from first through fifth. I grew up in Fairview Park and fell in love with teaching while volunteering with preschoolers at my church. I went to Cleveland State University and graduated with a degree in Education. I later obtained my master's degree through Ashland University. I love teaching reading and have also obtained a Reading endorsement.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and watching sports. I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment which encourages the students to believe in themselves and do their personal best.
