Hi! My name is Mrs. Gibbons and I teach middle school math here at Riverside School. I have been teaching in Cleveland Schools since 1996. I have taught math in grades 6,7, and 8 since 1999. What can I say! Middle school is my thing!  

 I graduated from Cleveland State with an elementary teaching degree, then went on to earn a masters in teaching math grades 4-9, from John Carroll University in 2005. I love teaching math to students. I believe learning math is critical for students’ future success. My approach is for students to learn new concepts and to apply them to real world problems.  

 I live in the Westpark neighborhood of Cleveland. My husband is a Cleveland Firefighter. I have 3 sons. My oldest son is an accountant and lives in Rocky River. My two other sons are in the Ohio Army National Guard. After his deployment my middle son has become a Cleveland Firefighter and resides in Cleveland. My youngest son attends Cleveland State University. My dog Brutus is my pride and joy! If you see me walking him don’t hesitate to wave!
