Mrs. Grimm Bailey is currently a grades 6-8 ELA teacher at Riverside School in West Park (Cleveland). She began teaching in 1991 in Shaker Heights, but made the move over to CMSD in 2000, teaching at Marion-Sterling for nine years, then migrating over to Riverside in 2009. She has experience teaching every grade from Kindergarten through Eighth, and also has experience as a Math Specialist, a Reading Intervention Specialist, and a couple of years as a Peer/Instructional Coach for the district. She is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on multicultural education, but also holds minors in Business, Art, and Psychology. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Cleveland State University, with an attached reading specialization. Mrs. Grimm Bailey is also the Head Coach for Boys' and Girls' Track & Field at Riverside, and is also a member of several school committees, including technology, SST, and the Building Leadership Team. She lives in West Park with her husband and beloved cats, and enjoys all things related to technology, reading, writing, gardening, biking, and traveling.
