Mrs. Colleen Palomar

My name is Colleen Palomar. I am passionate about my students and I strive to discover strategies in an effort for them to be successful in school and life beyond school.  My career began at Corlett Elementary School in 1999 and I have been at Riverside School since 2007.

I currently co-teach in the English Language Arts Department for grades 5-8 as well as work with students in the resource room untilizing the READ180 program.  I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-12 from Ohio University and a Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.  Continuing my education is important to me and I consider myself a "lifelong learner".

I am the oldest of fours sisters, I grew up in Cleveland Heights, and I graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. I currently live in the KAMM's Corner neighborhood, in Cleveland, with my husband Anthony and my daughter Marin.
