Students at Lincoln-West School of Science & Health are placed in a Mastery-Based environment where our scholars are engaged in Project-Based Learning (PBL) and a college-based biomedical curriculum through Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Our educational pathways are designed around advancing healthcare in the community through our collaboration and partnership with the MetroHealth System, so that our scholars are prepared to transform themselves and their community in the healthcare industry.

With a focus on science and health, students have access to classrooms inside the vibrant MetroHealth System where they can explore fields in healthcare and in agencies that support the healthcare system in Cleveland. The fields not only include patient care, but also human resources, information technology, marketing and communications, food services, and engineering, which are all studied in real-world contexts and settings.

MetroHealth professionals serve as mentors and students have access to internships and networking opportunities within the MetroHealth System throughout their high school experience and beyond. Graduates of Lincoln-West School of Science & Health are known for demonstrating a true sense of purpose and a passion for improving the health and vitality of their community.
