    7th & 8th MODEL UNITED NATIONS
    Campus International is the ONLY CMSD School to have a Model United Nations (MUN) Program! Model United Nations (MUN) is a middle and high school debate program. It is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations and the United Nations. At Campus, 7th and 8th grade students can apply in the fall!   • 3rd - 8th POKEMON CLUB –
    Students looking for a fun opportunity to compete, flex their strategy and reasoning skills, and dive into the wonderful world of Pokémon are in for a treat. Kris Harsh accepts 20 kids MAX to participate in this club once a week, some of those children are returning from the previous year, so get on his waitlist. Contact Kris at Kris.Harsh@gmail.com

    Kinder – 8th MATH OLYMPIAD CLUB – 
    Math Olympiad is a free mathematics competition team open to all students. Students in grades K-3 will learn to solve fun math and logic puzzles in a collaborative atmosphere to prepare for the competitions that begin in grade 4. Students in grades 4 - 8 will have fun practicing math and reasoning and skills that they will apply in the competitions. There are 5 competitions throughout the year, which will be announced later this fall. Math Olympiad meets Fridays from 3:30 - 4:30. CIS is the ONLY CMSD school with a Math Olympiad team!     CHESS CLUBThis year, CIS will have an official chess team, coached by professionals from Success with Chess. No prior chess experience is required. We will have one group for students new to chess and one group for students who have played before. The team is open to students of all grade levels and abilities. Students will become registered members of U.S. Chess and will compete in local tournaments. Chess team will meet every Thursday after school until 4:30. Practices begin on September 5 and run until May 22. The cost to participate is $150 per semester. Enrollment is limited to 30 students. A $25 deposit is required at the time of registration.     DRAMA CLUB – CIS will also be hosting teaching artists from Near West Theater this year for an in depth drama experience. Drama club will meet every Thursday after school until 5:00. The program begins on September 5 and runs through May 22. The club is open to students of all grades and no prior theater experience is required. The cost for the year is $400 and enrollment is limited to 40 students. A $25 deposit is required at the time of registration. To register, email Stacey at steggert@ohioeducationadvocates.org
