Your child has the option to participate in Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band and Choir in MYP. In 4th grade, they choose their musical career path!

Students who select the Visual Arts track will have authentic art making experiences, the chance to display the art they create in public spaces and connect with professionals in the local art community. Locations may include both art exhibition spaces and non-art public spaces with possible opportunities for students to sell their work. Since the 2022 school year,  art students have showcased their art in the following: juried competitions at the Cleveland Foundry, Ingenuity Fest Cleveland, Brite Winter, Foot Squared Exhibition at Worthington Yards, CanalWay Center Metroparks Nature Center, Rock Your World with STEAM celebration and will soon have a semi-permanent installation in Gertrude Gardens. At times, students have the opportunity to take field trips to local galleries, universities and art-making centers to both see and make art and experience residencies at school with arts organizations such as Zygote Press, Praxis Fiber Arts Studio, Cleveland Print Room and the Morgan Conservatory.

8th grade students will have the option for Open Studio throughout the year, so they will be able to design and then create projects of their choosing, using the supplies and materials they are most interested in.
