Mrs. Nicole Bentkowski

As the Curriculum Instruction Specialist at AB Hart, it has been a pleasure and honor to become a member of this great school community. I continue to see growth of our scholars and staff and I’m looking forward to opening our new building and making that feel like home!

Before coming to the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, my professional career was within the Maple Heights City School District. I held the positions of teacher from Kindergarten through 5th grade, and Mentor teacher. My continued excitement to be a part of the AB Hart family grows every day when walking the halls and hearing the quiet humming of scholars learning. We are continuing to go through our “Redesign Process” and build our skills around Inquiry Based Learning. Scholars are learning how to formulate high level thinking questions to guide their instruction based on their curiosities.

My greatest initiative is to provide the leadership in curriculum that will facilitate a school environment to provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each student to the best of our ability. The educational program must be academically challenging, engage each student by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and experience, and also be exciting to promote further exploration of new ideas. Parents, teachers, support staff, and administration all have an important role to encourage our children to become active learners. It is my sincere desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive citizens in a vastly changing society.

I believe in raising student achievement through building strong relationships and focusing on engaging work.Through a close and collegial partnership with everyone associated with Fullerton, I am confident we can make our school an even better place for our scholars to learn and grow.

I look forward to meeting you.

Warm regards,

Nicole Bentkowski
