Hello, my name is Michael A. Mathis. I am the Intervention Specialist for Middle School, and I am also the basketball coach. I will assist scholars with additional services in a pull-out/push-in small classroom environment for ELA and Math. I have been with CMSD for 24 years. The first 15 years I served as a paraprofessional. I have been teaching for 9 years. Six years at the high school level and 3 years at the middle school level. I am a graduate of Tri-C and Notre Dame College in South Euclid Ohio. While at Notre Dame, I made the Dean’s List every semester and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

I have been married for 33 years and have 3 adult children and 3 amazing grandchildren. I am also a graduate of CMSD. I attended East Clark Elementary School, Margaret Spellacy Jr. High, and Collinwood High School where I graduated in 1979.

I look forward to serving all scholars here at A. B. Hart in any capacity necessary.
