The Cleveland School of the Arts is an arts high school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD), serving students by incorporating the arts into its daily curriculum.
At the Cleveland School of the Arts this morning breakfast was made for heroes. More than 80 students invited the person that has had an impact on their lives as a way to say school to say “thank you.”
Ten District teachers have learned that they have won this year’s Excellence in Teaching Award. The honor goes to teachers who demonstrate instructional expertise, creativity and innovation and set an example for their peers.
5/20/2019 -- Jenai Mosely, a graduating senior at the Cleveland School of the Arts, won a Dazzle Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Andy Lee in this year's All-City Musical, "42nd Street." The musical was nominated for seven Dazzle Awards, a regional high school theater competition.
CSA students continously impressed the crowds at Festival of New works on May 11th and 12th where they displayed and showcased all of their new original work from this year - from student written and directed plays to massive canvas painting to instrumental solos and more. Thank you to everyone who attending and we look forward to seeing you at Festival of New Works in 2020!
3/16/2020 CMSD has turned 22 elementary schools into meal sites that will help keep students 18 and younger fed with free carryout meals during the extended spring break ordered by Gov. Mike DeWine.
