- Cleveland School of the Arts
- Welcome
-
Nestled in Cleveland's University Circle neighborhood, the school is connected to countless opportunities of world-renowned museums; prestigious universities; nationally recognized hospitals; eclectic restaurants; beautiful parks; and cozy spaces. Here, you'll find one of the most beautiful high school campuses in the city, and we're not just saying that!
Cleveland School of the Arts is the region’s only comprehensive performing, visual and creative arts public high school. At CSA, passionate artist scholars receive the training, education and support to “EXCEL TODAY” and every day in their coursework that will allow each student to “PERFORM FOREVER” in their chosen arts discipline beyond the place, to a better tomorrow.
CSA provides a college-preparatory education and access to nearby cultural institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland Institute of Art and the Cleveland Institute of Music. One-hundred percent of CSA graduates are accepted in post-secondary programs.
As a CSA Artistic Scholar, you can:
- Experience and practice other art forms through electives, extracurricular activities, the CMSD All-City Arts Program and the Annual Festival of New Works.
- Take part in the Signature Event Series, where CSA students can perform and exhibit work at the school and at world-renowned institutions as Severance Hall, Cleveland Playhouse, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
- Join groups like the Student Council, Anime & Gaming Club; Cheerleading; perform in the Jazz Arts Ensemble or the Dance Company; take part in a Shakespeare competition; or compete in intermural sports.
