• Visual Arts

The Visual Arts curriculum equips students with the techniques necessary to produce a strong portfolio through pre-professional training. Students are introduced to a wide variety of media and techniques, as well as, the dynamics of composition. As students master proficiency of these skills, they work on the ability to think about, discuss, and critically analyze works of art.

Students receive instruction from Visual Arts faculty and teaching artists who are accomplished professionals in their respective disciplines. Instructors spend a majority of studio time in individualized instruction: offering advice, posing questions, demonstrating techniques, and providing moral support.
