• School Hours

    School Office: 8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

During the school office hours, parents and visitors can get assistance from office staff either by telephone or in person.

Student Arrival:  NO EARLIER than 9:00 a.m.

Students cannot arrive to school before 9:00 a.m., as there is no adult supervision for your child prior to that time. Your child arriving to school prior to 9:00 a.m. jeopardizes their safety.

    Breakfast: 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

All students will be allowed into the lunchroom during this time.

    Tardiness: AFTER 9:35 a.m.

School starts at 9:35 a.m. Any student who arrives after 9:35 a.m. is considered tardy and must report immediately to the office and receive a tardy pass. Tardy students will not be accepted into class without a pass from the office. Students who repeatedly come to school late may be reported to the Department of Children & Family Services.

    Student Dismissal: 4:05 p.m.

Students in children's house will exit out of their respective exit doors. Students in the straight kindergarten class will line up outside in their designated area. Students in the lower elementary classrooms will have designated areas outside of lower campus. They will be accompanied by their classroom teacher, assistant, and other support staff. Students in upper elementary will exit out of the north door facing East 92nd street. Adolescence will exit out of the south door facing East 92nd street. Parents will not be allowed to enter the building during dismissal and should wait outside at their child's designated dismissal area to meet their child. This school policy is necessary to maximize the safety of all our students. If there is a need to speak to the principal or staff member, please call the main office to schedule an appointment at a later date as the principal's focus at this time is a safe and orderly dismissal.

Early Dismissal: Students WILL NOT be released early from school without the office receiving communication and consent from a parent IN ADVANCE. Also, STUDENTS WILL NOT BE DISMISSED EARLY from school after 3:15 p.m. After 3:15p.m., PARENTS MUST WAIT OUTSIDE until students are dismissed. Parents who repeatedly pick their child up early from school may be reported to the Department of Children & Family Services.

Late Pick-up: After 4:30 p.m., ALL students MUST be signed out by a parent or other designee.  Parents who repeatedly pick their child up early from school may be reported to the Department of Children & Family Services.
