Stephanie A. Kern

Stephanie Kern has been a Speech-Language Pathologist in Cleveland Metropolitan Schools since 2016. She has experience with students from kindergarten through high school. Mrs. Kern works with scholars on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with various disabilities such as speech-language impairment, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, emotional disturbance, other health impairment, autism spectrum disorder, and traumatic brain injury. She helps scholars with articulation and phonology disorders (speech sound disorders), language impairments, social/pragmatic impairments, fluency/stuttering, voice disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication.

Stephanie Kern has a love for her students and giving them the best services that she can. She works closely with the Student Support Team (SST) to help students qualify for special education services and provide intervention techniques. Mrs. Kern has earned a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. She loves to attend professional conferences, such as the national American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention and the Ohio School Speech Pathology Educational Audiology Coalition (OSSPEAC) Conference, to increase her learning in the areas of speech and language.
